58 kWp of PV across three campus buildings
The three solar thermal systems and the big ground source heat loop monitoring will follow.

We worked closely with JBrand who installed our meters and who are now the Open Universities troubleshooting maintenance company.

There was a signal strength problem with the Catering Hub PV meter (located round the back of the kitchens), so we sorted out a booster aerial for it – turning up on-site to oversee and check the meter was online.

One of the installs tripped out (which is not uncommon), but the automated email was sent and ensured that the Open University Estates Dept was alerted – and JBrand called in to investigate and fix things.

The automated failure and performance alerts can be configured so different people get warned after a set number of days.     Click image to enlarge
